ISOLE” is a recently restored
farmhouse, set in a quiet and panoramic position above the
Mugello
Valley (600 metres high), among the rolling hills and against
the background of Appennine Mountains. Only a few kilometres
from Florence, this area is rich of small town of ancient
origin, grown up along the Sieve River, with their fortresses,
castles, churces, villas and palaces which remind of the
Middle Ages.
Enjoy your holiday relaxing and discovering this beautiful
region with its nature, woods, meadows, in a mild and pleasant
climate.
Taste the typical local dishes and wines, all of which are
made only with traditional and natural ingredients.
We can also accompany to you for varied excursions to the
guide of our average new Quad.

The
small “Borgo” of “Le Isole” offers 7 Apartments,
all with private entrance and garden, Fire Place, Heating
and Bathroom, accommodating from 2 to 7 people, and 1 Double
Bedroom with Bathroom. All Apartments are tastefully Tuscan
styled, with Kitchenette, Living Room and weekly bed-linen
change.
When you reach “Le Isole” you can not go further
... The road stops there, you left traffic, noise and everyday
stress behind. At “Le Isole” you will discover again
the pleasure of silence, surrounded as you are by the stunning
landscape, and hope you can stand birds singing!
But we do not think that your farm holiday is only this ..
We can offer you much more! A perfect combination of Sport
and Nature!

We
can arrange various sport activities : mountain bike, trekking,
trekking with bird and game-watching, excursions with the
Quad, football, green volley and fishing. We have prepared
several Mountain
bike tracks either for beginners or experts, all well
signed, for which we will provide you with maps, distances
and descriptions also in English. We have also an efficient
“bike-garage” for up-keeping, with dressing room.
You can either take your bike with you from home, or rent
one of the many we have at your disposal.
Trekking
and biking itineraries along the “Gothic Line”,
with suggested tours as "Medicean Castles", “Bike
and Train”, " Florentine Hills", "Bilancino
Lake", for which we can give you all necessary information
and assistance.
And don’t forget the chance to see in their perfect
and natural habitat the owners of our woods, as the wild
boar, fox, roe deer.
Moreover we have to the inside of our structure the average
new Quad with
which we can accompany to you for varied excursions to the
discovery of the more characteristic places of the Mugello.We
have also a small fishing
lake (3500 square metres), were you can find
various species of trouts, and you will be proud to cook
your own catch of the day!
Each Guest has access to our outdoor Swimming Pool (6x12
metres), opened from May 25 to September 25, and your Apartment
allows you to 1 sun-umbrella, 1 sun-chair, disposal of Barbecue
and laundry facilities, and car parking.
For Football lovers, we have a 16x36 metres field, with
adjacent green volley .... Why not trying this “Sport
and Nature” mix for your next holiday? In collaboration
with some of our friends and fans of motorcycle
enduro practitioners, we offer an excursion
led and accompanied "traveling for miles and miles
along the ridge dell'appennino Tosco-Emiliano, reaching
the steps most famous and historically destination all the
fans motorcyclists. You ask, of course, to have half an
appropriate and suitable, we think the rest of us!
5 km from “Le Isole” you find : S. Agata (with
Archeological Museum, Museum of Country Culture with moving
characters, Sacred Art Museum, Romanic Church, bar and food
shops, tennis); 8 km Scarperia (Museum of Cutting Tools,
various shops, Horse riding, Golf, Gliding Aeroclub, Mugello
International Race Track); 9 km Bilancino Lake (canoeing,
windsurfing, sailing); and Florence
is only 35 km from here!
Our farmhouse is usually open all the year.
