How to reach LE ISOLE MUGELLO

Highway
A1 Milan-Naples :
Exit at BARBERINO DI MUGELLO after the tollgate follow
directions to Scarperia and Borgo S.Lorenzo drive approx
5 km, with the Bilancino Lake on your righ, then turn left to
GALLIANO - after 4 km , pass over the Shell Petrol Station and
turn right to GALLIANO - keep on driving on the main road until
you reach S. AGATA then follow the signs to LE ISOLE
for further 5 km.
From Florence:
SS Bolognese, about 35 km to reach Scarperia. Before getting
into Scarperia centre, follow direction to S. AGATA and
then signs to LE ISOLE.

The Mugello

a few kilometres northern of Florence, the Mugello valley extends itself
through rolling hills and tall cypresses, surrounded by the peaks and
